Chaos ensues as gunshots are fired at high school football game


He is in stable condition and will be undergoing surgery.

A witness told reporters that the boy appeared to have been shot in the neck.

Atlantic County officials said the shots rang out during the third quarter of the game between Pleasantville High School and Camden High School.

The alleged shooter, 31-year-old Alvin Wyatt, was charged by prosecutors with three counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful goal. They've been identified as 27-year-old Michael Mack, 28-year-old Tyrell Dorn, 27-year-old Shahid Dixon, and 26-year-old Vance Golden.

Dutch police deployed to plane at Schiphol airport

Camden kids made their way across the field, toward their bench and ultimately to their buses. "We wanted to get somewhere safe inside the school so we all ran up here", said Keon Henry, a senior. In footage from the scene, players, coaches, referees and spectators could be seen running for cover, crying and yelling "Get down!"

Gov. Phil Murphy said Friday night was "a stark reminder that no community is immune from gun violence". "I am grateful for the lifesaving swift actions of first responders to tend to the wounded, and our prayers are with the victims for a swift and full recovery".
