Google Launches Play Points Rewards System For Playing Games


Google announced that it is going to bring its rewards program for Google Play in the US.

After a successful run in Japan and South Korea, Google Play's Points rewards program is coming to the west. Google announced today that its free loyalty program will roll out to devices in the United States over the coming week. When you buy apps, in-app items, movies, books, subscriptions and so on, you'll be awarded points.

There are four different Tiers within the Play Points program. Those options may seem limited at first, but if you pump your points into Google Play Store cash, you can grab virtually anything on the platform.
