Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts on Prince Andrew: 'He knows what happened'

"It was a really scary time in my life", Ms Giuffre told the interviewer.

"He knows what happened, I know what happened, and there's only one of us telling the truth", Giuffre, who claims Epstein made her have sex with the prince three times, says in the teaser.

Prince Charles has already been assuming a more leading role within the royal family in recent years and most notably in the last month, in the midst of the controversy surrounding his brother, Prince Andrew and his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A U.S. woman who says she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York aged 17 has given her first United Kingdom television interview - on Monday's BBC Panorama.

Virginia Giuffre, the woman who has accused Jeffrey Epstein of sex trafficking her and Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her, in her first United Kingdom interview recalled the "really scary time in my life".

Femicide: Huge rallies across France to condemn domestic violence
Spain, by contrast, slashed its domestic violence rates following a series of legal and educational measures launched in 2004. Some marchers want 1 billion euro in government investment, though the funding is expected to fall far short of that.

Her allegations, which Andrew strenuously denies, were struck from USA civil court records in 2015 after a judge said they were "immaterial and impertinent".

A television interview with Giuffre is scheduled to be broadcast Monday (Sunday NZ time) in Britain.

One Inverness resident, who did not want to be identified, said: "The Highland Hospice has - quite rightly - chosen to disassociate itself from Prince Andrew and have removed the plaque commemorating the opening which he attended".

"At first the Scotland Yard told me they were going to forensically examine GM's house in London- next thing I hear, just like the FBI, they were not allowed to pursue the investigation". The allegation was made against a USA national, Jeffrey Epstein, and a British woman.

Ms Giuffre has criticised the Metropolitan Police for failing to investigate her allegations. It related to events outside of the United Kingdom and an allegation of trafficking to central London in March 2001.

Mike Pompeo Planning to Resign as Secretary of State
Mike Pompeo said, "I'll defer to the White House about particular statements and the like". It is unclear if he has discussed his supposedly impending resignation with the president.

"In August 2019, following the death of Jeffrey Epstein, the MPS reviewed the decision making and our position remains unchanged", the police said.

"We therefore concluded that the MPS [Metropolitan police service] was not the appropriate authority to conduct enquiries in these circumstances and, in November 2016, a decision was made that this matter would not proceed to a full criminal investigation".

After Epstein committed suicide in a NY jail cell in August while awaiting trial for further offences, Murray said the Met reviewed its decision but the force stuck by its original assessment.

"Charles has had discussions with William", the source said.

The interview has been widely considered a public relations disaster for Andrew, who announced shortly after it aired that he would be stepping down from his royal duties.
