Rising Broadway star dead at 13-years-old

Her grandfather David Rivlin said that Laurel Griggs had some big plans for her future and that acting was a childhood dream.

The young Broadway actress Laurel Griggs who featured in many films and television shows died after suffering an asthma attack at the age of 13. He wrote, "Words can't express how I feel about the sudden loss of our littlest "no neck monster" from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".

Laurel Griggs died on November 5th in New York City after suffering from a massive asthma attack, her family told The New York Post.

Laurel Griggs was a young actress on the rise when her life was taken too soon. She also spent almost two years, between 2013 and 2015, performing as Ivanka in the Tony-award winning Once the Musical and had two uncredited appearances on the long-running NBC late-night sketch series Saturday Night Live in 2017. She was only 7 or 8 when I worked with her for 17 months and 36-40 hours a week, which was so fun. She also starred in the 2016 movie Café Society with Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart and had a couple of uncredited parts on Saturday Night Live in 2017.
