The British heavyweight star showed off his more slender physique at a public workout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (Wednesday NZT) as he aims to win back the belts he lost to Ruiz in NY in June.

Ruiz, who was born in the United States but fights as a Mexican, caused one of boxing's biggest upsets in NY in June when he handed Joshua a first defeat to win the WBA, IBF and WBO crowns in NY.

Mexico's Ruiz, who caused one of boxing's biggest upsets when he knocked out Joshua in NY, is contracted to earn $9m for the fight, but that will now rise to $13m.

In just over a week, Andy Ruiz Jr will step into the boxing ring with Anthony Joshua. "The pressure isn't on me because I followed my dream, made my dreams come true", Ruiz said ahead of the so-called "Clash on the Dunes".

"One punch can change the fight". I fine-tuned. "It's a marathon not a sprint, and I will be victorious".

It smashes the record set in the first fight between the duo in June at New York's Madison Square Garden, when AJ was paid $32m.

Andy Ruiz Jr displayed his lightning fast hands while smashing the pads at the public workout in Riyadh. As for advice, Mike Tyson said Ruiz has to do what he did the last time.

"I don't know what's in his mind, what's going on in the camp. I've got to show my skills, my talent".

"I don't know where he is in his life".

However, Ruiz seemed unconcerned about Joshua slimming down for their sequel, saying he was "ready for whatever he brings".

Ruiz Jr has suffered only one defeat in 34 fights, losing a majority decision to Joseph Parker in 2016.

"We've got to see where he's at because all the pressure is on him".

Patriots not interested in bringing back Antonio Brown
Two sources with knowledge of the Patriots thinking scoffed at the idea Antonio Brown would rejoin the Patriots this season . The 42-year-old hasn't missed any time this year, starting all 10 of New England's games in the first part of the season.

"I didn't want to do anything different". I hope he wins, I want him to win, but whether he wins or not, it's something else.

Anthony Joshua predicted he will gain revenge against Andy Ruiz Jr having "fine-tuned" his approach.

"And I want to take it even more seriously because I'm going to that next level".

The first time these two big boxers met, Anthony Joshua was defeated in what remains his first and only defeat in his career.

Meanwhile, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn insisted that another defeat to Ruiz wouldn't be fatal to the Brit's career.

"Win, lose or draw, I would still like to remat it". Sometimes fighters lose, it makes them weaker.
